Falling between Hootie & the Blowfish and Live, Third Eye Blind's catchy and melodic post-grunge made the group's first single, "Semi-Charmed Life," into a hit in the spring of 1997. The San Francisco-based quartet consisted of Stephan Jenkins (vocals), Kevin Cadogan (guitar), Arion Salazar (bass), and Brad Hargreaves (drums). 10.29.08 3eb is so easily one of my favourite bands. There are probably only a handful of songs that I just like... the rest I really love. For those who already love 3eb but don't know all their songs, check out Slow Motion for something different. Beautifully impassioned, sad, dark, violent and yet beautiful... haunting! |
