Power Station was a 1980s supergroup made up of singer Robert Palmer, bassist John Taylor, guitarist Andy Taylor of Duran Duran, and former Chic drummer Tony Thompson. Bernard Edwards, also of Chic, was involved on the studio side as recording producer. For a short time he also functioned as Power Station's manager. “ Aweseome to be able to revisit these great songs from the 80s. The Power Station was a very interesting collaboration of musicians. I miss Robert Palmer's distinctive vocals (R.I.P.). I'm glad that DuranDuran is still making music. I do miss the 80s...a decade of real music, no sampling, no digitally enhanced vocals...real musicians, with real talent, making real music. No offense to musicians of this generation, but I have to give "props" to the era of musical greatness, which changed everything in pop culture...the 80s. ”
