Sad to say, Acid Gallery were never as daring as their name promised they might be, their music being decidedly more pop than psychedelic or freakbeat. They were a four-piece band led by guitarist/singer Vic Elmes and featuring Mike Blakely, the brother of the Tremeloes' Alan Blakely, on drums.
