“ Stanley's LP "Stanley Clarke," was the album that first turned me on to jazz. The songs express so much vitality and improvisation, including both electric and acoustic numbers. Later, I moved on to Miles and the other masters, but Clarke's early stuff still sounds great and makes me shout "Yeah!" ”
