Bassist Jerome Dupras, drummer Dominique Lebeau, multi-instrumentalist Marie-Annick Lepine, guitarist Jean-Francois Pauze, and vocalist Karl Tremblay formed Les Cowboys Fringants (The Frisky Cowboys) in the Montreal suburb of Repentigny.
