Ken Maynard (July 21, 1895 – March 23, 1973) was an American motion picture stuntman and actor. Born Kenneth Olin Maynard in Vevay, Indiana, he was one of five children. His younger brother, Kermit Maynard, also became a stuntman and actor. Working at carnivals and circuses, starting at age 16, Maynard became an accomplished horseman.
