“ It is inadequate to describe your music as Alt-Country though its folk, country, country rock, roots rock resonate such labels do not do justice but the honest,soulful and lyrical nature of this music. Its music that makes me homesick, leaves me dreaming, allows for time travel, soothes the heart and even gives solace in anger and loss, its simply magical. Its seldom this listener has ever been so affected and it makes me kind of goofy. I only discovered this gift a few weeks ago and I can't stop listening, because the humanity shines through. None of us can pretend to know an artist solely through his or her music and likely we shouldn't, but the sincerity of this music is so palpable, you almost feel you know Kathleen and further that you want to know her. Finding this music feels like rediscovering a long lost and beloved friend, both readily.warmingly familiar but new, because its so genuine.Music like this is rare and I know I will be listening to this artist until I am an ancient fossil.
