Teen pop star Jennifer Love Hewitt was already a veteran of several TV series (including Kids Incorporated) and had recorded a 1992 Japanese LP when she signed on to appear in Fox TV's popular series Party of Five in 1995. That same year, she made her American debut on record, releasing Let's Go Bang on Atlantic Records.
