Formed in 1998 in Sulphur Springs, TX, prog metal band Fair to Midland are vocalist Darroh Sudderth, guitarist Cliff Campbell, bassist Jon Dicken, drummer Brett Stowers, and keyboardist Matt Langley. After two independently released records (The Carbon Copy Silver Lining EP in 2001 and Inter. Funda. “ I was doing time in TDC when I first heard FTM. Anytime they came on the radio, there were shouts iin the dorm, "FTM is on!" Immediately you would see several guys putting on there headphones. These guys rock...and makes us Texans proud. Now that I am out, I have bought two of their albums. Dance of the Manatees is still one of the best songs I have ever heard, although I don't know what the song means. But who cares. ”

“ What do you know about FTM?! I was there in the beginning. Drinkin buddies from "The Merce"- Commerce, TX that is; well technically theyre from commerce and sulphor springs, TX. I know all about them I celebrated new years with Brett and Matt just before I moved from there this year. They have a new album coming out though I can't say much about it other than look for it this summer. Right now they're on tour in europe- germany I think. ”
