Daniel Victor Snaith (born 1978) is a mathematician and a composer, musician and recording artist under stage names Caribou and Manitoba. Snaith was born in London, Ontario, Canada. His early life was spent in the Province of Ontario's Golden Horseshoe region, first in Dundas and later in Toronto. Snaith attended Parkside Secondary School and later studied mathematics at the University of Toronto.
