The arena rock group behind one of the fastest-selling debut albums in history, Boston was essentially the vehicle of studio wizard Tom Scholz, born March 10, 1947, in Toledo, OH. A rock fan throughout his teen years, he began writing songs while earning a master's degree at the Massachusetts Institute of Technology. a band way a head of their time..they really introduced a lot of modern computerized affects that nobody had at that time..that is what made them special and the albumn covers were super ....no one at that time had better albumn covers well besides pink floyd...

Boston Rocks! I saw them in 1979 and last June 2008 I took my kids and they loved them. The new lead singer fits right in. What a great story., and a great history to rock an roll bands.
