'Ere Music

'ere is a progressive improvisational jazz band, based in Atlanta, Georgia, featuring Tommy Jones on Piano, Andy Hill on Drums, Sebastian Gregory on Bass, and JT Alessi on Guitar. The eclectic mix of influences shared by the different members of the group combine to form a unique sound that is hard to categorize. Borrowing from jazz greats Dave Brubeck and Herbie Handcock, funk stock such as George Clinton and the Dazz Band, rock and folk influences from Abba to ZZ top, and a background of 70s and 80s grooves, 'ere manages to create a sound all their own, a whole greater than the sum of its parts.
