Lead by Phil Edwards, The Phil Edwards Band consists of Phil Edwards, Adrian Ashdown, Callum Goldie and Tim Williams.

Their live set brings together elements of blues, funk, reggae and country all with an honest soulful vibe..

They are bound to get you up on your feet dancing and singing along.

The PEB were established back in 2010, Phil paired up with guitarist Tom Charleson (Tahuna breaks,)and quickly got a band together to turn Phils acoustic songs into full band tracks.

The PEBs first ever gig was in Auckland at the Dogs Bollix, with the bassist, drummer, and guitarist from Tahuna Breaks. Shortly after this, new band members were formed to create a unit that were to stick together for the next 4 years.

The events over the next few years was an inspiring journey for all the guys involved. There were live shows played at some of the biggest festivals in New Zealand and Australia, such as Rhythm and vines, The Auckland beer festival, Whitianga scallop festival, Blues brews and BBQs, Whangamata summer festival, Napier city Showcase, Melbourne Moomba water festival, the list goes on.

"The experiences had, and friends made throughout the Journey are things that would not have happened without following my passion for music" says Phil.

The PEBs debut single "crash" was released just prior to the debut album "slow borders". "Crash" was very well received throughout New Zealand and Australia gaining an A rotation on hit radio station More FM. This release lead to numerous live performances on National tv and Radio.

In 2013 it was time for the guys to see the world, and the boys set off for their big OEs. Throughout this time Phil has continued to write material, not once forgetting the real passion he has for song writing.

In late 2016 the music has come back to life with all new material. The band consists of the same bass player and keys player but a new drummer is on board , Callum Goldie. Phil has been working hard to get momentum back up and running. Currently the guys are working on their second album, including two new music videos, 12 new full band tracks and a fantastic live set to get you on your feet!.

The new album is currently being mixed by legendary Kiwi singer song writer Thomas Oliver.

Residences in world class resorts in many locations worldwide including Abu Dhabi, Dubai, France and Greece. Performed on Numerous EP's, singles and live shows for acts in London and throughout NZ. Performed on Tui award-winning album 'Run for Cover'.

Timothy William,


Timothy William first came to prominence as a young jazz pianist. Having worked professionally with some of Auckland’s Jazz heavy-hitters, since his early teens, T/W has now performed in almost any style and genre and with local and international artists alike.

He currently runs his own studio and is in demand as both a session musician, musical director and music teacher/educator.

Adrian Ashdown

- Regular on the Auckland original music circuit as a bass player since his early twenties.

- Three full-length albums and a number of international support slots and national tours.

- Also plays bass with new wave pop group Superturtle.
