Born in the small town of Pinson, Alabama, Roszunn was raised in a single parent home where music was highly recognized by family members. There was a vast amount of talent throughout his family. Roszunn began singing for "A.O.F.B" church choir and quickly moved up to receive the title of "head drummer". His mother and other immediate family members provided him with that extra push and support to bring his talent to the spotlight. Over the years Roszunn has been inspired by artists such as Prince, Isley Brothers, Earth Wind & Fire, Al Green, Rance Allen, D’Angelo and Kim Burrell with some old School and New Age urban music. At the age of 13, Roszunn began writing and producing music. His uncle Keith Ruff, (guitar player for blues legend, “Bobby Rush”) gave him access to his first productive studio where he wrote and composed over 100 songs by the age of 18. Roszunn has been writing and producing music for other recording artists for over 8 years now.

Roszunn’s first single, “Come Home With Me” has been in rotation on radio stations nationwide, such as Blogtalkradio.com, Radio X – 88.5 and Starlite FM among others. The single is one of many soulful hits off the debut album; I am Rhythm and Blues, which released nationwide on June 7. The 12-track album has been recognized as “wonderfully crafted” and “deserves a place within the genre’s storied discography”.

Recently, Roszunn’s single “Come Home With Me” landed the number one spot on the UK’s Independent Chart Show, creating a huge buzz over seas. Roszunn has since released two genius mixtapes, L.O.V.E. Living Out Visual Emotions vol. 1 and 2. “Rum N Coke”, is the first single off the sophomore album, S.O.U.L. Signs Of Unconditional Love, which released January 1, 2013. The day of the release, “Rum N Coke” landed a spot on the iTunes HOT tracks. Roszunn’s singles have tipped a new success for the up and coming artist by attracting international media from the UK including the UK Top 30 Soul Chart, among others.
