Lothlórien is a Celtic music group taking its name from the magical forest found in Tolkien's 'Lord of the Rings'. Based in Auckland, New Zealand, the group plays Celtic music mainly from Ireland, Scotland and England. Lothlórien plays both traditional and contemporary songs and tunes, particularly music that is eerie and haunting in the style of Clannad and Loreena McKennitt.
