Born in 1974 in Bari (Italy) he began composing music on his instrument in 1999, where he started playing gigs in pubs and performing guitar recital in local cultural associations. These compositions have been included in two self-produced CDs. In 2004, both of them have been published by the Ethnoworld srl label.

During this period, he also studied flute and clarinet experiencing several collaborations with Italian worldmusic-style bands.

In 2013 he published a book for guitarists entitled Manuale per chitarra in which he described the main principles of harmony and included pratical tools for guitar improvisation.

In 2012 he published a transverse flute sheet music called Luci soffuse (suffused lights) and in 2014 Dry Stones, a solo guitar music collection. In the end of 2014, some of these pieces have been also recorded in the album Onirico.

From 2014 to 2017, he studied composition at the Nino Rota Conservatory of Monopoli, where he experienced several important collaborations. In this period, some of his compositions (e.g., Sentieri Lunari) have been performed by orchestra. He also adapted the W. Shakespeare's Sonnet 29 for ensemble and voice as well solo pieces for piano, saxophone and violin.

In 2018 he got a bachelor's degree in compositions at Nino Rota Conservatory of music studying under the guidance of maestro Riccardo Panfili. For this final exam, he wrote a piece for a large orchestra and an essay about the aesthetics of Ferruccio Busoni and Hans Werner Henze. In July 2018, he graduate with 110/110 cum laude.
