Rock, Rock/country

Harry Leidel is a veteran singer/songwriter who's been producing recordings and performing since the 1980's. Harry's professional musical journey began in New York when he met Ray Longchamp and together they formed the Leidel/Longchamp Band. Harry and Ray performed often at Nobody's Inn in Mahwah, NJ, the Turning Point, in Piermont, NY and the legendary Red Rail in Nanuet, NY. After several years of live duo performances with Ray, Harry produced the CD "The Leidel/Longchamp Band". All the songs were written and sung by Harry and featured Ray on lead guitar. After several years of this collaboration Harry embarked on a new project that ultimately became the "Lone Wolf" CD.

Lone Wolf is an exciting mix of driving Rock style songs that feature an eclectic group of talented musicians and took two years to produce. The collected Lone Wolf songs were written, arranged and produced by Harry and were inspired by events and people in his life at the time like Midnight Sally and Lightning Sue… Oh Yeah! The tracks, including Crazy Eyes, Dangerous One, Ireland, Morning Song, Runaway and Too Many Nights were recorded at New City Multitrack Studios in New City, New York and were engineered by Scott Staton who also played Keyboards on the project and co-wrote "Crazy Eyes" with Harry. Lead Vocals were sung by Matt Wells, except for Too Many Nights, which was sung by Harry. Background Vocals were performed by Stephanie Swann, Cookie Watson, Eileen Mullens and Maria Bartolotta. Chip Larison and Ray Longchamp shared Lead Guitar solos and various parts on the tracks, Drums were by Tim Barnhart and Bass was by Sly Geralds.

In the early 2000's Harry moved back to Austin Texas, after having lived there years earlier to be a part of the popular music scene there. He's performed at The University of Texas, Gino's, B.D Rileys and has recently completed "The Best Of Leidel", a compilation CD featuring Memphis based vocalist Christy Hathcock. "The Best Of Leidel" consists of newly recorded material from several of his previous works including "The NPR Band", "The Leidel/Longchamp and", "Lone Wolf" and several independent projects. "The Best Of Leidel" is currently available on iTunes.
