John Holt was born and raised in Pensacola, Florida. He served ten (10) years in the United States Army before returning home where he met his wife Bridgette in his local church. After suffering three (3) heart attacks and major surgery, and being taken out of the work force, John begin playing guitar for a local gospel group. It was doing his time playing in local churches that he was inspired to form the Back to Gospel program.
