*The Soldier's Creed*
~~I am an American Soldier. I am a Warrior and a member of a team. I serve the people of the United States and live the Army Values.
I will always place the Mission first.
I will never except defeat.
I will never quit.
I will never leave a fallen comrade.
I am disciplined, physically and mentally tough, trained and proficient in my warrior tasks and drills. I always maintain my arms, my equipment and myself.
I am an expert and I am a professional.
I stand ready to deploy, engage, and destroy the enemies of the United States of America in close combat.
I am a guardian of freedom and the American way of life.
I am an American Soldier.~~
--Thank You Jay for giving me this!Bless you!-- =-)
*SAILORS CREED*
~ ~ I am a United States Sailor
I will support and defend the Constitution of the United States of America and I will obey the orders of those appointed over me.
I represent the fighting spirit of the Navy and those who have gone before me to defend freedom and democracy around the world.
I proudly serve my country's Navy combat team with Honor, Courage and Commitment.
I am committed to excellence and fair treatment of all.~ ~
- -Thx KV for sending this to me! 0:-) - -
*US ARMY RANGER*
~ ~Recognizing that I volunteered as a Ranger, fully knowing the hazards of my chosen profession, I will always endeavor to uphold the prestige, honor, and high esprit de corps of the Rangers.
Acknowledging the fact that a Ranger is a more elite soldier who arrives at the cutting edge of battle by land, sea, or air, I accept the fact that as a Ranger my country expects me to move further, faster and fight harder than any other soldier.
Never shall I fail my comrades. I will always keep myself mentally alert, physically strong and morally straight and I will shoulder more than my share of the task whatever it may be, one-hundred-percent and then some.
Gallantly will I show the world that I am a specially selected and well-trained soldier. My courtesy to superior officers, neatness of dress and care of equipment shall set the example for others to follow.
Energetically will I meet the enemies of my country. I shall defeat them on the field of battle for I am better trained and will fight with all my might. Surrender is not a Ranger word. I will never leave a fallen comrade to fall into the hands of the enemy and under no circumstances will I ever embarrass my country.
Readily will I display the intestinal fortitude required to fight on to the Ranger objective and complete the mission though I be the lone survivor.
Rangers Lead The Way!~ ~
- - Thank You Joseph for Giving this to Me as i requested of you. - -
*Marine Corps Creeds*:
~ ~ (My Rifle)
The Creed of a United States Marine
by MGen William H. Rupertus, USMC Retired
This is my rifle. There are many like it, but this one is mine.
My rifle is my best friend. It is my life. I must master it as I must master my life.
My rifle, without me, is useless. Without my rifle, I am useless. I must fire my rifle true. I must shoot straighter than my enemy who is trying to kill me. I must shoot him before he shoots me. I will...
My rifle and myself know that what counts in this war is not the rounds we fire, the noise of our burst, nor the smoke we make. We know that it is the hits that count. We will hit...
My rifle is human, even as I, because it is my life. Thus, I will learn it as a brother. I will learn its weaknesses, its strength, its parts, its accessories, its sights and its barrel. I will ever guard it against the ravages of weather and damage as I will ever guard my legs, my arms, my eyes and my heart against damage. I will keep my rifle clean and ready. We will become part of each other. We will...
Before God, I swear this creed. My rifle and myself are the defenders of my country. We are the masters of our enemy. We are the saviors of my life.
So be it, until there is no enemy, but peace!
~ ~(NCO Creed)
I am the backbone of the United States Marine Corps, I am a Marine Non-Commissioned Officer. I serve as part of the vital link between my commander (and all officers) and enlisted Marines. I will never forget who I am or what I represent. I will challenge myself to the limit and be ever attentive to duty. I am now, more than ever, committed to excellence in all that I do, so that I can set the proper example for other Marines. I will demand of myself all the energy, knowledge and skills I possess, so that I can instill confidence in those I teach. I will constantly strive to perfect my own skills and to become a good leader. Above all I will be truthful in all I say or do. My integrity shall be impeccable as my appearance. I will be honest with myself, with those under my charge and with my superiors. I pledge to do my best to incorporate all the leadership traits into my character. For such is the heritage I have received from that long, illustrious line of professionals who
have worn the bloodstripe so proudly before me. I must give the very best I have for my Marines, my Corps and my Country for though today I instruct and supervise in peace, tomorrow, I may lead in war.
(SNCO Creed)
I am a Staff Non-commissioned Officer in the United States Marine Corps. As such, I am a member of the most unique group of professional military practitioners in the world. I am bound by duty to God, Country and my fellow Marines to execute the demands of my position to and beyond what I believe to be the limits of my capabilities. I realize I am the mainstay of Marine Corps discipline, and I carry myself with military grace, unbowed by the weight of command, unflinching in the execution of lawful orders, and unswerving in my dedication to the most complete success of my assigned mission. Both my professional and personal demeanor shall be such that I may take pride if my juniors emulate me, and knowing perfection to lie beyond the grasp of any mortal hand, I shall yet strive to attain perfection that I may ever be aware of my needs and capabilities to improve myself. I shall be fair in my personal relations, just in the enforcement of discipline, true to myself and my fellow
Marines, and equitable in my dealing with every man.
~ ~ (Drill Instructor's Creed)
These recruits are entrusted to my care. I will train them to the best of my ability. I will develop them into smartly disciplined, physically fit, basically trained Marines, thoroughly indoctrinated in love of Corps and Country. I will demand of them, and demonstrate by my own example, the highest standards of personal conduct, morality, and professional skill.~ ~

*US Air Force Airman Creed*
~ ~ I am an American Airman.
I am a Warrior.
I have answered my nation's call.
I am an American Airman.
My mission is to fly, fight, and win.
I am faithful to a proud heritage,
a tradition of honor,
and a legacy of valor.
I am an American Airman,
Guardian of freedom and justice,
My nation's sword and shield,
Its sentry and avenger.
I defend my country with my life.
I am an American Airman:
Wingman, Leader, Warrior.
I will never leave an Airman behind.
I will never falter,
and I will not fail. ~ ~
- -Wow THX once again KV for coming through for me! I so appreciate it even if the Coast Guard falls under The Dept of Transportation until war time when it then falls under the Dept. of Defense. ;-)) You have made this complete for me KV you're a great guy glad you're my friend!!- -
*CREED OF THE U. S. COAST GUARDSMAN*
~ ~I am proud to be a United States Coast Guardsman.
I revere that long line of expert seamen who by their devotion to duty and sacrifice of self have made it possible for me to be a member of a service honored and respected, in peace and in war, throughout the world.
I never, by work or deed, will bring reproach upon the fair name of my service, nor permit others to do so unchallenged.
I will cheerfully and willingly obey all lawful orders.
I will always be on time to relieve, and shall endeavor to do more, rather than less, than my share.
I will always be at my station, alert and attending to my duties.
I shall, so far as I am able, bring to my seniors solutions, not problems.
I shall live joyously, but always with due regard for the rights and privileges of others.
I shall endeavor to be a model citizen in the community in which I live.
I shall sell life dearly to an enemy of my country, but give it freely to
rescue those in peril.
With God's help, I shall endeavor to be one of His noblest Works -
A UNITED STATES COAST GUARDSMAN. ~ ~

My name is September.Yep for real it isn't a user name! LOL There are tons of stuff around my name from the story behind it to all the diff things people call me both by accident and on purpose when teasing me...I will pretty much answer to any month, day of the week, season. ;-) I love my name....it's great fun!
"LIFE,LIBERTY, & THE PURSUIT OF HAPPINESS" (Again thx to our troops!)I believe in honor, honesty, integrity, truth, grace, in people and all things. I like to have as much of a balance in my life as is possible. Respect is absolutely needed, humor is a must. I love diversity... it's awesome!
I enjoy learning about other cultures past and present. The similarities, the differences...so cool. =-D Ancient cultures are intriguing and shows us; that for all our changes, in many ways we haven't changed at all. Some good, some not so much. Ever so fascinating... =-)
I love animals and beautiful spring and summer mornings... you know the kind: the sun is shining, there is a warm breeze and the birds are chirping happily? =-)
...and what about our beautiful sky that no matter where one is on earth we all can see this one thing... that is the same everywhere...pretty cool to think about... don't ya think? =-D Love It!
NOTE: ***I don't take friendship lightly...not in my physical world or online. I think friendship is a two way street where both parties both initiate communications; as well as, respond. Not just one or the other or none of the above. So please bear this in mind before accepting my request or requesting me. As I've said above I believe in balance, or as much as can be acquired. In a friendship both are responsible for attending to it...otherwise, I may delete. I hope all who reads this can understand***.
ANOTHER IMPORTANT NOTE ABOUT ME: Please do not request my friendship if you are uninterested in actually having a friendship. If you have 60-90, 100, 200, 500, 1000, etc friends please do not bother to request me. It's a waste of both our time (Although there are exceptions they are few).I am uninterested in A) being a number or B) being a part of a social internet site harem. I don't believe there is any such thing as a high status on these sites determinant upon how many "friends" one has on his/her friend's list. Not trying to be rude but getting these type of requests are getting old because I know it is unlikely one can/will keep up with this many friends on these sites.
Peace.... =-)
