Just here for the music and meeting people with like tastes. I have 3 children, 2 boys (the older two), and one daughter (my mother's day gift who was born on Sunday, May 14th). I work and enjoy golfing and hanging out with my friends and family when the time is available.
I just count my blessings and try to spread the good word.
I mostly love baseball and couldn't be happier that Boston won the world series. One day I would love to go to Fenway Park. I aspire to be a better golfer; however, I'm not exactly a hack. Now that winter is here, I would like to spend more time going ice skating up in Big Bear or skiing. I love computers and websites like this jango beta thing. I love concerts and visiting new places. I just went to the wine country in Temecula and that was a lot of fun!
I am fortunate to still have my Mom. I lost my Dad in 1997. Just now writing it makes me realize it's been 10 years. Wow! That's why I know I feel for my own children on the loss of their father. Sometimes it's a numbing kind of feeling. I'm glad I have lots of siblings. Having a big family definitely has its advantages.
National Geographic, Court TV, Discovery channel, Food network, and probably Nip/Tuck are the top choices for now!! Sometimes I like Survivorman, just in case (LMAO).
Classics like Gone With the Wind, and kids' movies like Jungle Book, Shrek and DVD's of concerts and music. I love Places in the Heart and Music of My Heart with Meryl Streep.
Bible, for sure. Some self-improvement books and anything inspirational. I am currently reading Thunder at Dawn by Jill Gregory. Oh yes, and cook books and victims to try those recipes out on. The people at work are most likely to be the recipients and don't seem to mind one little bit.
