I love Sam Raimi (not in an 'I want his babies' type way) The Evil Dead for it's age and very low budget is an unquestionable classic. As for the fly thing did you know that Beelzebub is a hebrew word which translates roughly to Lord of the Flies and you've got the plague of flies in the bible. Can't wait to hear your final verdict.
