To find out what a person is like, I think you can learn more from their dislikes. I strongly dislike government in its current state, cops of any sort or anyone who wants to be one, organized religion, politicians, lawyers, closed minded people, television, people who believe what the television is telling them, and music with no feeling.
My days and nights revolve around music. I climb rocks, snowboard, hike, and play pool. I like dogs, especially mine. I design and build gardens, install hi-end audio/video systems, climb and trim/cut down trees, and build custom stone patios, walls, stairs, etc.
No TV, it's bad for you. The only thing they are good for is viewing the signal coming out of a dvd player or dvr.
A Clockwork Orange, Salton Sea, Fisher King, One Flew Over the Cuckoo's Nest, Dune, Eyes Wide Shut, Into the Wild and many more I can't remember.
Any thing by Tom Robbins, Kurt Vonnegut, Mark Twain, Aldous Huxtley, Orson Welles, and any other writer with a new way of thinking and a good command of the English language.
