My friend and hero Bill died in Iraq from a roadside bomb 4 yrs ago today. He was my driver and one of the fines people i have ever met. 5 kids at home and he always volunteered for the front truck because he didn't want to have anything happen to anyone else. Great man. ADDED TO PROFILE, NOT HERE FOR ANY RELATIONSHIP OTHER THAN FRIENDS. I CAN BE A GOOD FRIEND BUT NOTHING ELSE. THANK YOU.. Motto: If i am not enjoying what i am doing, why am i doing it? Live every day with the thought that you are capable of making someone else's life better with little effort. And that makes your life better. I guess i need to add that i am on here to enjoy the music and make friends from around the U.S.. I have a girlfriend and have enough trouble maintaining that relationship without adding complications to it. I believe in the ability to have friends of the opposite sex without getting involved. I do not believe most people are honest online (I am) and just like to chat with anyone (of either sex) who wants to about any subject. My girlfriend knows i am on here and sometimes she is on here also listening to my music. Anyone who can't handle simple conversation can delete me from their friends list. I am a member of the National Guard, (Cavalry), 10 yrs service of active duty and guard total, 6 years active in the early 80's 4 years now in the guard. I have served with some wonderful people, some of whom didn't make it back standing up. One of best soldiers and friends i have met, Bill Bailey died on 25 may 07 from an IED, I was his team leader and he was my friend. I miss him every day. Freedom isn't free, but with these wars, only the soldiers and their families are paying. Iraq war veteran, believe in peace if possible but sometimes force is necessary. Liberal on my politics except for gun control. I will always have guns for sport shooting or hunting. Don't hunt much as i just get out and enjoy life and nature. I am spiritual but not religous, organized religion has caused too many problems over time. I believe in love thy neighbor but leave them alone for the most part. My favorite quote is "Some people never go crazy, what boring lives they must lead". I grew up in the 70's and like to tell the younger crowd that back then we had to walk 10 miles through 4ft snow to get high and get laid. I usually only on here Mon - Fri during the day. I hope to add this at home but just haven't had the time yet.
reading, sports, fishing, hiking, learning new things, gardening, I love wildlife and plant for their shelter and food, beekeeping. Softball has been my summers for 30 years and still going, I really like to meet new people and enjoy talking to older folks about lifes changes and younger folks about what they see the world is all about. I have traveled throughout Europe and been to Iraq and believe people are basically the same all over the world, they want to raise a family and have their children have a better life than they did.
