Hello everyone! My name is Selena Marie Gomez. The one and only. I was born on July 22nd 1992. That makes me nineteen years of age, but I turn twenty in a few months! I'm so excited about that. I was born in Grand Prairie, Texas and yes, I will always be a Texas girl. Even if I'm living the high life in California, I will always be a country girl at heart. When I was a child, my father left my mother when he found out that she was pregnant, and moved away. So it was just me and my mother living alone, and it was very hard. She had to take care of me with no help at all. She had to get extra jobs just to earn enough money for food. My mother had me at a very young age. She was only sixteen years old when she gave birth. She told me to stay a virgin, because she didn't want me to get pregnant at such a young age and have to ruin my childhood. I kept that vow, and I am continuing to keep it, until a man puts a wedding band on my finger and asks me to be his wife. Anyway, ever since I was a little girl, acting has always been one of my passions. I also liked to color and sing and dance, but acting was the one that really stuck out to me. I found out that I wanted to act when I went and watched my mom preform on stage. It was just something that really looked like fun to me. So I auditioned for barney, and while I was in the line of Barney, I met Demi Lovato. We were from close areas in Texas, and she became my best friend very quickly. She will always have a special place in my heart, that no one else can replace. Even though we are kind of distant right now, she will always mean so much to me, no matter what. No one can take that away from us. I remember how we first met. She asked me if I wanted to sit on her jacket and color with her. Of course, I agreed and we bonded. Both of us ended up getting the roles and ended up acting together. We spent most of our time together, and we were rarely seen without each other. After that, I continued to shoot for my dreams, so I auditioned for more and more roles. After a while, Disney Channel finally recognized me, and casted me into an episode of "Suite Life of Zack and Cody." I got to meet Dylan and Cole Sprouse, who were awesome guys. After that, I got into my own show that was called "Wizards of Waverly Place." Sadly, it just recently ended, but I had so much good memories with the people on that show. I made good friends with everyone there, including David Henrie, Jennifer, and Jake. I will always love them. They are like a family to me. When the show ended, I literally cried, because I was going to miss them so much. I made such a good bond with them, but I knew it was time to move on. In between my shows, I also quest starred in many things, and made a few movies. I am currently working on one right now which is called "Spring Breakers." It's defiantly a more mature movie compared to the others that I have been in, but it's a change, and I like change. I have began to get more and more famous, and I just got off of tour. I also sing, and have a few albums out. I love to sing too, but acting is just my passion right now. I am currently dating Justin Bieber. He is such an amazing guy, and I love him with all of my heart. It's kind of hard to explain how I feel about him, but it's defiantly love. He's so sweet, and he will do anything for anyone. I think that the fact that we have similar backgrounds makes us even closer. I get a lot of hate from his fans, but I don't mind. I know that they are just jealous, and I would be the same way. Sometimes it hurts, though. It really does. I've cried before, and I used to get death threats a lot. Everything has calmed down now, and I have been with him for over a year, and we are still going strong. It feels like the first day that I met him.As of right now, I am happy with my life. I wouldn't change it for a think. Everything is just the way that I want it to be, and I'm loving every second of it!
