Update 8/28/2012: Since Jango won't play music for me any more...I won't be coming back here any more. If you've been my friend and want to keep in touch, you already have my email address. I'll miss you all very much.
Update 6/15/2012: God answers prayers!! I've heard of "soul mates"...and had prayed about one for me, for years. Never felt that I'd met "him"...Well, lo and behold? I've met the love of my life, my soul mate...and HE feels the same way. I won't be hanging around here much any more...except to listen to music. I hope every one of my friends who is single gets to feel the joy and excitement that I'm feeling right now. Thank God every day, for His blessings, for I feel TRULY blessed, in this love that I've found.
I love music. Could not live without music, and won't allow a mate to make me live without it...lol. I do have some favorites. Here are a few.

my favorite singer and one of his songs (One Small Step):
another of his songs: LOVE IT!!!
a new favorite, by a girl (Pink):
Faith is the bucket of power,
Lowered by the rope of prayer
Into the well of God’s abundance.
What we bring up depends upon what we let down.
Just as we know the sun will rise without fail every dawn, we can fully trust the love of God in moments of darkness. When your Hope is in Him rather than the things you desire from Him, you no longer need to fear the wait, or the risk of hope. This is how, strangely, the unknown can become beautiful--how we can find life while walking in the dark. When fear isn't present, only love envelops the unseen road we travel, one footstep after another, moment by moment. (by Erin Gieschen)
Every experience God gives us, every person He puts into our lives, is the perfect preparation for a future only He can see....Corrie ten Boom
It's not about how many times someone tells you that they love you, its about how many times they prove that they do.
Song of the Soul XXII by Khalil Gibran
In the depth of my soul there is
A wordless song - a song that lives
In the seed of my heart.
It refuses to melt with ink on
Parchment; it engulfs my affection
In a transparent cloak and flows,
But not upon my lips.
How can I sigh it? I fear it may
Mingle with earthly ether;
To whom shall I sing it? It dwells
In the house of my soul, in fear of
When I look into my inner eyes
I see the shadow of its shadow;
When I touch my fingertips
I feel its vibrations.
The deeds of my hands heed its
Presence as a lake must reflect
The glittering stars; my tears
Reveal it, as bright drops of dew
Reveal the secret of a withering rose.
It is a song composed by contemplation,
And published by silence,
And shunned by clamor,
And folded by truth,
And repeated by dreams,
And understood by love,
And hidden by awakening,
And sung by the soul.
It is the song of love;
What Cain or Esau could sing it?
It is more fragrant than jasmine;
What voice could enslave it?
It is heartbound, as a virgin's secret;
What string could quiver it?
Who dares unite the roar of the sea
And the singing of the nightingale?
Who dares compare the shrieking tempest
To the sigh of an infant?
Who dares speak aloud the words
Intended for the heart to speak?
What human dares sing in voice
The song of God?

“ Oh, the comfort, the inexpressible comfort of feeling safe with a person, having neither to weigh thoughts nor measure words, but pouring them all out, just as they are, chaff and grain together, certain that a faithful hand will take and sift them, keep what is worth keeping, and with a breath of kindness blow the rest away. ---Dinah Craik ”
If I could catch a rainbow
I would do it just for you
And share with you its beauty
On the days you're feeling blue.
If I could build a mountain
You could call your very own;
A place to find serenity,
A place to be alone.
If I could take your troubles
I would toss them in the sea,
But all these things I'm finding
Are impossible for me.
I cannot build a mountain
Or catch a rainbow fair,
But let me be what I know best,
A friend who's always there...

Absorbed with inner peace in that moment where awareness slips into the subconscious,
I soon lie in motionless amazement of what I now perceive, not knowing if my observations are real or imagined
Sometimes in our lives,
We all have pain, we all have sorrow.
But if we are wise,
We know that there's always tomorrow
Life Is a Gift
Today before you say an unkind word - Think of someone who can't
Before you complain about the taste of your food - Think of someone
who has nothing to eat..
Before you complain about your husband or wife - Think of someone
who's crying out to GOD for a companion.
Today before you complain about life - Think of someone who went
too early to heaven..
Before whining about the distance you drive Think of someone who
walks the same distance with their feet.
And when you are tired and complain about your job - Think of the
unemployed, the disabled, and those who wish they had your
And when depressing thoughts seem to get you down - Put a smile on
your face and think: you're alive and still around..
Let's always give thanks to GOD for what we have and who we are!!!
