As you can probably tell by my music I've got a taste for a variety of genres and styles but old school R & B work best for me with some of the more thoughtful messages found in the works of Scott, Badu, Arie, Stone, NWA and such artists thrown in just to keep me from being stuck in the music of my youth. I love classical as well as country, new age and certain bluegrass...but I have to be in the mood or have a favorite song that's being given a different interpretation. And speaking of interpretations, most of the "gospel music" you'll run across is also music that I grew up with or got introduced to through my connections to family or friends in the church but I see myself as more of a spiritual person than someone who adheres to a particular belief system. I've explored more of them than the average person and think they all deserve equal respect. The creator made enough ways for everyone to have one of his or her own.

Love traveling anywhere with a connection to history and it's even more special when the fish are jumping nearby.

When I can combine networking for business opportunities with any of my other interests I'm good to go. I often find myself in the right place at the right time meeting the right people so every day above ground is a blessing. Just out of curiosity, how do you get Jango to add some artists and songs that they currently don't have in their system? Send me a shout(?) with that info if you know how to get it done. I can't believe how poor the selection of WHISPER songs currently is or that they don't have JON LUCIEN or the original PRETENDERS in the data base.

Same tastes as in music with healthy portion of documentaries and foreign film thrown in to the mix of drama, adventure, action, comedy, science fiction, etc. when they also serve to provoke thought in addition to providing some temporary escapism.

Most history books on topics that captured my interest years ago such as the roots of the bible, koran, different religious communities, with a preference for things connected to the Afrikan diaspora - business & self help oriented tomes with a leaning towards those related to real estate in particular.
