Biography

Joseph “Devine” Lewis was born and raised in Paterson NJ, Alabama housing projects, where he was immersed into the hustle game, but he also loved music, it was his first love. He recorded a few albums and released a few single and videos through a known record label, which in the end he got beat for royalties and capital he deserved. He lived on both sides of the fence (meaning) He hustled and stayed in school. He had a lot of trouble In the High School he attended which was (Eastside High School) after several suspensions and expulsion he was able to return to school and achieve his diploma. watch movie “Lean on me” there was a lot of gang fights so you had to be down with a clique or you got beat up everyday by bullies or got extorted. In his upbringing it was survival of the fittest, so the area he lived in, you had to be tough or you was picked on and considered a “punk”. Devine was well known and respected, he made a lot of money, he was a good dude who was fair and generous and he didn’t like to fight, but don’t get it twisted he put in that work when he had too. He attended Texas Southern University in Houston Texas for 2 yrs and finished at center for media arts in New York in which he achieved a degree in Engineering/Producing. He got caught up in the game and did time for his choices. Now he’s back on the road to living the life he desires.
