I'm a kinda fella who used to just wander about, letting the wind carry me where ever it chose to. Comes a time though when some sort of order is preferable, so I've realised that one can only remain 25 for so long. London is great when one's young and relatively rich.Wild times have a tendency to lose their appeal, but I still dig life, love selected people, and thank you, whoever you are for giving me the best friends that ever wandered the earth.I.ve been lucky in the fact that I've managed to cram at least five lifetimes into the space of one.
Due to a work related accident in '95 I'm unable to work, so I guess I've had to come to terms with enforced retirement, but being broke has now just become a way of life, and with the help of my Zen belief - no big deal.
Played in a rock band during the 70s/80s in London clubs and pubs. Rip-snorting times, But lost the love of my life in the process
It was a serious wake up call so I went to university did Eng Lit. In North Wales. Now I live in this seaside town that no one can pronouce. Or spell. HA...
Beach combing, literature, film (preferably American noir of the '40's and '50's)
Hanging out, breathing the sea breeze ,and making a deliberate point of being as politically incorrect as possible. Have an above average aversion to hypocritical phonies and gossipers.
I love music with a passion, that most people would find obssesive, but as Popeye said "I yam what I yam."
Sopranoes, The Wire, Nurse Jackie, Breaking Bad. Natural history documentaries (BBC) and rolling news.
European and American classics. (Another obsession!) Nothing fantastical except Pan's Labryinth, Coens and David Lynch.
My favourite film ever being Paris Texas
Too difficult to list here. I'd end up writing another War and Peace.
