About Me

I'm against Christian metal and punk (Christians can have gospel and whatever else that are their proper genres), if I find out a rock band is Christian (if they like to proclaim their religion, personal choice is a private matter and should stay that way; private) I will be deleting them from my play lists. Did they not learn anything from the fathers of metal/punk about organized religion? Shame on them. Metal and punk have been the antithesis of religion from the beginning of times. And until there are Muslim, Buddhist, Jewish etc metal and punk in terms of religious equality and inclusiveness in representation within the areas of rock, I will not accept Christian rock (it would be kinda cool if there were Shaolin monk punk band or Sucidal bomber muslim death metal , I'm mostly kidding but hope you get my point).

Interests

Msg me if you want to discuss music. I don't quite understand the point of adding friends on here... I only accept requests if I see that they share similar musical taste. And if you think anything I disclosed on my profile is real, you are an idiot. You really think I'm a 52 yr old male living in Beverly Hills that looks like a teen emo ho?

On another note...

On my profile it says I like a whole bunch of like death metal bands but that was a glitch from my iphone app when the thumb down button wasn't working, instead it recognized as a thumb up... My fav bands for the record are *drum roll*... Atreyu, Disturbed, Rise Against, Adema, My Darkest Days, Art of Dying, Children of Bodom, Apocalypitica, Bad Religion, NOFX and growing... I also am a fan of classical music. Listening to classical music full blast while stoned is just so damn majestic, lmfao. Other times, it's just calming and relaxing in general and classical composers back in the olden days led interesting and some tragic and maybe romantic (unrequited love in some cases) lives. I like reading up on them like Beethoven, Chopin and Tsjaikovski. Beethoven's compositions sound really emo to me and Chopin created the MOST beautiful piano music, hands down the most beautiful ever. I don't have much praise for Mozart, he's kinda like the Beatles, his music is very catchy and rather mainstream. He woulda been a sell out in the present day world.

Anyways, looking to find more metal bands. I've never liked Metalica or Megadeth...they seem douche bag-ish to me... Death metal is a bit too much for my taste, some speed/thrash metal is ok though. I like screaming in vocals but it shouldn't dominate the whole fricking song. A singer should be able to use different vocal techniques within one song...

Having fun discovering music and different interpretations of a genre or a song.

Television

Fan of Nurse Jackie (<3), Sons of Anarchy (so badass...), Breakout Kings (way better than other cop shows).

Film

I liked two of Tom Hardy's films; Bronson (in which he was more than brilliant) and Stuart: Life Backwards. Another Brit actor I like is Michael Sheen, very versatile. In many of his movies, I wouldn't have recognized him as the same person, he's able to look and act so remarkably different as each character. I just find it difficult to understand their accent...but still t think that was the best role for Mr. Hardy although his was the most interesting character in the story...

Books

I'm currently reading Confessions of an English Opium-Eater. Is it just me or does the author come off condescending? Like he chose the life on the street cuz he felt his teaachers at his boarding school were beneath him... Oh and it reminded me of Kurt Cobain, he also started using heroin to alleviate his undiagnosed stomach discomforts likewise. I've read books and seen movies, personally known recovering and former drug addicts, they've had much worse happen to them, abuse, violence, neglect etc that they used drugs to numb their emotional pain. This smug asshole thinks he's so smart and better than his peers and teachers that he runs away like a coward and lives on the street like a stray dog and it sounds like he attributes the cause of his stomach illness to the poverty/stress and the hunger of living homeless. Well, duh? right? This is why you should stay in school!! Intellectually spoilt to the point of narcissism.

Ok, I need to read further, I haven't gotten to the confessional part yet...
