About Me

Stephen John Brown arrived into the world at 11pm on Wednesday November 22 1961,three years later on Friday December 18 1964,his sister Susan Elaine was born-she has been married twice,in 1992 her first marriage gave to her Rebecca, who is my niece, and in 2003 her current marriage saw Matthew my nephew arrive.Steve is yet to tie the knot.Steve had a good education(did he?)-then in 1980 he began to work for Royal Mail, but does he like it?Well, taking the rough with the smooth-ok!

Steve likes to stay in the UK for his holidays, and his fave place is the Lancashire costal resort of Blackpool,he also likes going to places like York,Manchester,Liverpool,Worcester,Nottingham,Weston Super Mare,Cardiff, and when he has a big celebration, like his 50th birthday in November 2011,he would go back for a one-off trip to London

Interests

Steve has a love of sport, his fave footie team is Aston Villa, who if you knew, have won the FA Cup seven times-we have to go back to 1957 when they beat the team he can't stand-Manchester United. Also have a love for pub entertainment.Since 1974,he has supported Stourbridge football club, and he will never forget 2011/12 season, when the glassboys reached the second round of the FA Cup,losing out to Stevenage

Television

Sports, game shows-but Steve has a love for a show he remembers seeing when he was about seven or eight months old-the test card, and all the music played,as there is a great interest in the old BBC TV trade test transmissions long before tv was on 24 hours a day.

Film

Not a big fan of the silver screen-the last film he saw was back in April 2009,when he saw The Damned United,a film dramatising the time when Brian Clough managed Leeds United for 44 days in 1974,starring Michael Sheen.he has seen The Sound Of Music and many other films in his time at the cinema

Books

The Bible,Sky Sports Football Yearbooks,Dads Army Scripts, also have loads of old footie programmes.
