I am a writer and an avid reader who travels a lot due to the nature of my work as a journalist. Am still learning new things everyday of the 15 years since I walked into a newsroom. I am blessed with a soulmate who is a go-getter and who puts God first in all she does. I love life and I try my best to always be in the good books of the Lord. I like to have fun, lots of fun, though regrettably sometimes the limits are blurred by certain liquids that are best left across the bar counter. ...But am working on it. I love music and I listen to everything that's good. Am looking for like minded pals friends from all over the world and this site could not have come at a better time than when I am looking to expand my networking.
I like reading biographies, self-help books and newspapers from all over the world. Have recently taken more interest in surfing the net. I love soccer. I pray hard, party hard and work hard. I have a soft spot for jazz with Brazilian and Caribbean influence. But give me Bob Marley anytime - all the time. Cultural activities and dress also interests me. I've recently taken to photography which I enjoy very much.
I rarely watch television and if I do its for the news and sports.
I relish any opportunity to go to the cinema for the big screen, popcorn and the general ambiance of the filmhouse for a really good movie. 'Kingdom' by Jamie Foxx I enjoyed though we could use some more balance in the story line. 'Why Did I get Married' ranks among the best movies I've everseen after 'Slumdog Millionnaire', 'Tsotsi' and a Swazi film on Aids called 'Batjele - Tell Them'.
Everyone in the world should read Robin Sharma's 'Who Will Cry When You Die?' I have done so over four times. Anything by John Grisham is also highly recommended - and so is the Swazi Observer newspaper for which I am currently the Chief Editor - the team tries to do a good job and everyone gives 110% of themselves.
