About Me

I find beauty all around us; in sunsets, and sun rises; the scent of snow on the winter's wind; the sound of music in the air on a summer's day. I find music touches our souls so that it can sing of the beauty of being alive. I dally in poetry and occasionally paint. I became a grandmother February 2009. That tropical isle, a pitcher of margaritas, & a honey by my side is starting to look much too inviting. LOL

Interests

I enjoy picnics by the falls; a day at the shore; a walk in the woods; movies, museums, flea markets, antique shops, ferry rides, craft & country fairs, sightseeing, dancing, casinos, fine dining, a cruise to no where and just a drive to enjoy the scenery, and of course my weekly card game with friends. LOL I also date younger for reasons few are able to fully understand, and it has nothting to do with sex.

Television

duck dynasty, vikings, being human, the following, grey's anatomy, breaking bad, the vampire diaries, fox channel news....and abc talk radio

Film

action/adventure, sci-fi, drama, classic films, westerns, comedy...I'm not into the standard chick flick films

Books

robert mccammon - the wolf's hour...anne rice - all the vampire chronicles...stephanie meyers - twilight saga, dean kuntz, and donald clayton porter's white indian series, steve berry's the charlemagne prusuit, some nora roberts, and anything inbetween that grabs my interest within the first 20 pages; if it doesn't, it gets tossed to another pile of give aways. reading keeps my imagination in check LOL
