I was born in South Africa of Jewish European origins.Immigrated to Israel as a teenager and found I could never live in SA again while the Nationalist party remained in power.Apartheid did'nt survive but I have been an inveterate traveller for years now,so don't really feel limited to any one national identity.I do,however, hold both South Arican and Israeli citizenship.I've been in about 27 countries besides South Africa and Israel.Of these I lived for extensive periods in the U.K ,Belguim,Greece,Holland,Australia,Germany and the Czech Republic.Worked as a jack of all trades -master of nothing for many years but have never given up on educating myself till I go senile at the age of 99 ;if I get beyond 52 ,that is From 1999 till 2002 I worked as a stagehand on various shows ,exhibitions and music concerts involving classical orchestras,ballet ,and along with what is known as "Local Crew",assisted roadies on the concerts of some up and coming "slightly" known music artists such as Bon Jovi,AC DC ,U2,Rod Stewart,Bob Dylan,Paul Simon,Totenhosen , The Stereophonics et al. boast boast ,who me ? It was interesting ,hard but fun, not such bad payand a chance to meet all sorts of people until I returned to Israel at end of '02 for a visit to family , friends and some scuba diving in EgyptI.In January 2003 I was severely injured in my brain in a manner I'd prefer not to mention ,and came out of a coma to face a different reality which has involved epilepsy,diagnosed bipolar disorder,anxiety attacks, and next thing I know, they'll tell me I have incurable ingrown toenails as well.The social life has taken it hard: : my former Czech girlfriend with whom I got together in 2005 after a hiatus of a few years ,told my sister over the phone,last year,that she only wanted to" be friends" and as a consequence I ended up in hospital with alcohol poisoning,post seizue weirdness,and a face that looked as if Mike Tyson got annoyed with me-Maybe Hole should start singing songs about me and brain damage boo hoo..Im now trying somehow to go back to being interested in the world and good people, and joining this site is one method I'm using.Thanks for EXISTING, jango and people.You may even keep me alive : o )) not : o ( ! !

Music would you believe? GOOD women with good minds,not just looks ,history and the people involved in it ,animals, world literature,philosophy and secular theology , foreign languages , astronomy,the natural sciences, quantum mechanics to get rid of unwanted company ha ha ,psychology(for a neurotic world) ,travel travel travel in different countries,scuba diving (now forbidden coz of epilepsy ,hiking,martial arts (now too decrepid ),peace movements in Israel, skepticism in the original Greek sense of the word.Love

Between drivel such as some of the "Reality" shows,which can't compete for interest with the view I get if looking into the bowl when I flush the toilet after defecating,there are some some class shows.Film Channel, National Geographic,Educational Channel,VH1, Law and Order,Seinfeld,The Simpsons ,Malcolm in the Middle,The Badge, Worlds most Amazing Videos,Beevis and Butthead, Eurosport for Rugby,Athletics,K1 fight club,Thai and western boxing,The News ,sometimes with the sound turned off .Ocassionally I watch the T.V when it's turned off,and the screen appears to have an appealing shade of grey.
