I am someone's daughter, then I became someone's wife, later my journey turned into motherhood and that turned into blessings of grandchildren. Now, I'm enjoying gathering up the colors of my life and weaving them into rainbows for my heart. My paths have taken many turns and now I find that I'm on a journey of caring for my ailing Mother who is afflicted with Alzheimer's Disease. Her memory is fading across the veil of life now so I'll continue to feed her soul with harmony and songs.

**January 2, 2009: At the recommendation of my mother's doctor, we have now placed her in an Alzheimer's Assisted Living facility, which she refers to the facility as "my hotel room" and we were very mindful of this and set up her room to represent her own room here at home. This has been a difficult challenge to meet and accept for us, but we know it's the best place for her to be in her progression of this disease.
