I'm about as down to earth as you can get. I've done most everything that I ever wanted to try, and have no regrets. I take pride in not being judgmental. I'm a patriat. Veteran of two wars. Retired from Navy Reserve. Worked as a nuclear chemist. Started teaching college chemistry. Get my PhD at 56. Devoted 33 yrs to the wonderful mother of our two beautiful children, now grown & gone. hope to get another 33. Always be happy! Enjoy life while you can, It's too short, and it's too late before you realize it.
Motorcycling. Dirt bike, cruiser, or whole hog. My favorite is my 72 HD Electra Glide. Taking walks on our small hill farm with the wife. Visiting with my children when they come home.
Star Trek (all of them), any Jim Henson or Frank Oz show. I only use TV any more to view my DVD's, don't have cable or sat. They are CSI, 24, Gunsmoke, MASH, Red Skelton, King of the Hill, and of course the Simpsons. When the wife isn't around, I sneak my sons South Park and Beavis & Butthead (don't tell her). Got the entire collection of original Star Trek, ST the Next Generation, John Wayne and Sherlock Holmes VHS's. Try to find a VHS player nowadays.
Star Wars (all of them). Disney classics, still got em all on VHS from the kids. Greatest movie ever (at the risk of sounding gay) was not Citizen Kane, but Wuthering Heights. Will watch any new scifi that comes out. Love the fantasies, Dark Crystal, Labyrinth, Princess Bride, all of the Rings, all Harry P, Willow, Stardust, ; if it was a fantasy, I've got it.
All of the books by the following; Asimov, Tolkien, Louis L amour, Edgar Rice Burroughs, Kenneth Robison (pen name for authors of the Avenger series), Zane Grey, Arthur Conan Doyle. Too many others to mention. Two of my favorite reads were Gone With the Wind and The Da Vinci Code.
