I'm just me... I'm a single mother who works hard to be everything my daughter needs to be guided into becoming the amazing woman she is destined to be. I am a lonely heart.... more love to give than there are people in my life to love. I work full time helping people to find employment. I love my job, I love my girl, I love my life. If I can only keep my eyes focused on Jesus and the delightful, awesome love He pours down on me.... I know my future is secured in His most Sacred Heart. I'm on Jango because I believe in meeting and sharing with people who need music like I need music.... it lifts up my spirit, renews my hopes.... eases the disquiet in this little ol heart of mine.
I've made so many wonderful friends on Jango. It all has to do with God reaching out and speaking to us thru music and through our common human needs for friendship and support. I LOVE listening to praise music by Toby Mac, Mercy Me, Rich Mullins, Third Day, Bebo Norman and Barlow Girl. This is music that celebrates God's love for all of us, and mine for Him. I listen to Jango while I am at work and, although I play it quietly, I know His grace and blessings are slowly reaching my coworkers.
Music feeds my spirit and uplifts my soul. I learn from music and if I was denied my music, I'm sure I would just shrivel up and die..... Oh yeah, I also like Eros Ramazzotti, Angelique Kidjo and Céraria évora too, their voices send shivers up and down my spine.
I think I am here to connect with people .... I'm open to however God wants to direct my path. I am His little silver hammer ... just waiting for Him to pick me up and use me. A quote I love by Mahatma Ghandi ..."You must be the change you wish to see in the world" ... bring it on world. I'm ready...
Singing, dancing, walking in the rain, sunsets, picnics, puppies, praise music, ethnic foods, friendship and laughter, the smell of a newborn baby, the tingling coldness of a winter's night walk and then the warmth of my own sweet home....
I don't watch TV (It generally sucks)
Crash, Hotel Rwanda, Ghandi, A Company of Strangers, Opal Dreams, One Night with the King, The Chronicles of Narnia, old musicals like My Fair Lady, The Sound of Music, Godspell...
The Holy Bible, Richard Bach, Maeve Binchy, Harold Johnson, CS Lewis, anything Canadiana.....
