I have no favorites at this point, but I thought for new moviesfor 2008 new releases; Gran Torino, Changeling and Seven Pounds were great, of the 3 definitely Changeling. An older movie that stands out for me is Legend of the Fall, that whole karmic debt, reap what you sow theme is something that I truly believe in and live by, in other words, I do try to treat other people as I want to be treated and watch my heart and motives in my actions. No one is perfect, but at least in your mistakes you know or should know what not to do again or how make something better. Sorry, don't mean to sound preachy, but Legends just stuck with me as a good movie, as did Amistad.
