She was born Martina Mariea Schiff in Medicine Lodge, KS, in 1966, and discovered country music through her father, who led a local band called the Schifters. 08.16.08 I love the song "In my daughter's eye's. I am 58 years old, and 21 years ago, I prayed to someday have a daughter. After growing up with three brothers, and when I married I had 2 boys. When I finally had my daughter, I felt that she was everything this song means, to me. I wish I could have the single, so I can give it to her. So she remembers how I really feel about her being in my life. She grew up so fast and is out in the world, and I miss her being a little girl again. I won't be here forever, so I would like her to know how I really feel. Thank you Martina, for the song. |
