An R&B band that only played pop to get on the charts, Manfred Mann ranked among the most adept British Invasion acts in both styles. 03.27.08 Well I guess, to each his own, but IMO “Blinded by the Light” is one of the all time greatest songs ever written (Bruce Springsteen) and masterfully covered by Manfred Mann! Just an FYI, the lyrics are about people Springsteen would meet playing at clubs in his early days and the chorus is about a 32’ Ford Deuce Coupe. |
