05.16.08 I saw old Cheetah at The Mab in San Francisco in the late 70's. My friend let them stay in her North Beach apartment that night with their ditzy groupies. After a hard party night, she went to work in an insurance office with about 1 hour of sleep(we used to do that at least once a week in those days), she got dressed & went to work. The had to play a gig in LA or something that night. When she got home, three groupies were stark naked, crying and handcuffed to the radiator. One had the initials "C.C." burned into her bare ass with a burning cigarette butt. (True story!) |
