05.27.08 check out the movie "Festival Express" --- the movie was released in 2004 I believe, but the original footage is from the 1970 cross-Canada festival tour .... most of the musicians travelled by train... the movie is only 90 minutes (way too short for all the great music!) but you can see performances by The Band, Grateful Dead, Janis Joplin and others |
