Part of the vanguard of the Brit-pop scene that formed around bands using the Commodore 64's SID sound chip as a musical foundation, Welle: Erdball (aka W:E) was led by lyricist, programmer, and vocalist Honey (aka Dr. Georg Linde in the side project Das Praparat) and programmer and keyboardist A.L.F.
