“ I came to TIm through Jeff, I find it a deeply bittersweet irony that so many young folks like myself would have never discovered Tim's majestic voice if not for the deeply strained, almost acrimonious relationship Jeff had with his father. The fact that both TIm and Jeff had magnificently transcendent voices and are often overlooked, yet nonetheless legendary performers is an irony of sublime proportions. Rest in peace Tim. I pray that you have found the son that you never knew in life. ”

“ Tim was my boyfriend in the 3rd grade and a life long friend. He died at about 27 years old--what a sad waste. In grade school he used to make siren noises, he always had a clean handkerchief (which the teacher pointed out), he was student body president in the eighth grade, and he had such a pretty mom who came to school for parties. He was a good friend all the way through high school, although he moved to another district. He was best friends with my high school boyfriend and our group, and he continued to come to our parties--which, by the way, did not have drugs or alcohol. What a shock when we found out how he died. The world lost more than a voice. It lost a wonderful smile. ”
