Just as the name suggests, MBL comes from a long line of musicians. Dating back to King Henry The VIII. In fact,my great, great, great, great, great grandfather played for the King and, helped invent drumsticks(as drummers know them today). The story goes, one night when my grandfather(5 times over, twiced removed) was playing a drum, at King Henry The VIII's dinner gathering. The King was feeling no pain, after just having found out that another offspring was not a male heir. He said, "Giuseppe"(that was my grandfathers name)"Try this on your drum". It was a huge drumstick(I guess he wanted to get more bang for his buck, after failing at bucking). King Henry The VIII, was famous for eating platefuls of drumstick and, drinking kegfuls of beer. So from that day on, "Drumsticks" (sans meat) were used for playing drums. And from that day on every generation of our family(those famous and not so famous, those cognitive and not so) have been involved in music. We salute them and, we honour this privledge. Hopefully carrying on, to future generations.
