Alana is a 14-year-old singer/songwriter, actor, session vocalist and recording artist. Alana plays piano, keyboard, guitar, drum and does some midi music programming. She's taken some lessons in singing, acting, dancing, karate, ice-skating and horse-riding. Alana has done some session singing for TVCs, music videos and a TV drama in Australia, She has also played roles in some short films, TVCs and stage production in Australia.
Alana wrote her first song when she was 9. "My Hair's Gone Blue"
Her first song recorded was "Walking to School", at 12, a song about her 1st year high school experience and emotion. This song won 1st prize at 2011 Sydney Eisteddfod, original work competition (14U)
Her newest song "lets go" received a HC at 2011 Sydney Eisteddfod Singer/Songwriter Competition Open Age. She has been invited to write songs for Sydney Children Festival Choir during 2011 Sydney children Festival and two songs were performed and recorded by the Choir.
Most of Alana's songs have been recorded as part of a MQ University student project in Sydney
