Francesco Camattini hates talking about himself in third person but does not see any alternative.
Since he was a boy, he has been afraid of the dark and for a quiet sleep he's still forced to leave a light on and the cat in the hallway.
He's been teaching law and economics in high school in his city for too long. He made his debut as a songwriter in '98 with the publication of "Le Nove Stagioni" (which will be certainly appreciated post-mortem); in 2002 finally - thanks to the warm recommendation of a friend - he has made his musical recital devoted to the myth at the International Festival of Theatre of Polverigi.
In 2003 he published the CD "Ormeggi" the result of a creative and disordered musical and literary research: a CD dedicated to the re-telling of the myth in song form.
It's been many times - never enough - host of national and international radio stations (Radio Rai and Radio Rai International) who have devoted several episodes to his work.
He has received numerous awards [not so many as he 'd want (Camattini is evidently dissatisfied)] and its records were reviewed by some of the major magazines - see the dissatisfaction above and add a little of insecurity if the reviews were not so enthusiastic ... - (Among other Musica di Repubblica, Rockit, Rock Star Repubblica, Jam, Worldmusic ...) and today his music is distributed by Egeadistribution and edited by Radar.
From his work as singer-songwriter he gets about 1084.57 euros gross per year, he spends about ten times as much for each CD recorded (there are at least three cases: 1 - he's from a rich family, 2 - he's earning from an illegal activity, 3 - he borrows money from friends. You can add at will your hypotheses).
