From the great Navajo Nation comes Victoria Blackie
Her Voice is "Powerful" with lots of soul, bringing back the feel that Patsy Cline, Loretta Lynn and the greats have given to country music.
She is an independent artist with great vision and launched this career on a shoe string budget and has a very supportive family and friends who encourage her to pursue her dreams .
One of her highlights was being invited to perform at the 2002 Winter Olympics in Salt Lake City, Utah. Her gifted voice was discovered by many groups as she was invited to perform on a 30 day tour to Japan.
Ms. Victoria has been a favorite in the Intermountain Region singing a powerful rendition of the “National Anthem”. She has performed for many dignitaries, including Government, City and Native American officials. She is one of Native America's hopefuls and now stands as a shining light for the youth.
Her song interpretation is one of her strengths and always has audiences wanting more. Victoria has a versatile voice, from jazz, musical theatre, pop rock to country. She has recorded many demos, has been featured in major Newspapers in the intermountain west such as the Tribune and Deseret News.
She is dedicated, hardworking and has a gracious personality. She would like a chance at the “big time”.
