Thirteen Yards to Victory (13 YTV) is Anthony DiPerri (20, Vocals, Keys), Vinny Prezioso (20, Guitar, Vocals), Thomas Iannello (21, Guitar, Vocals), Ryan Passariello (18, Drums) and Dave Rossi (22, Bass) of Saugus, Mass., and was formed in late 2005. During its brief time on the music scene, the band has performed during the Boston date of the internationally acclaimed Vans Warped Tour in 2007, has covered 29 states via three independent national tours and has recorded under the auspices of acclaimed drummer Kenny Aronoff (Melissa Etheridge, John Fogerty and Smashing Pumpkins).
Most recently, 13 YTV approached music industry powerhouse Ken Lewis (Usher, Kanye West, Fall Out Boy, Mariah Carey, Jay-Z) to produce and mix their latest EP, American Dreamers. Once the major-label, multi-Platinum producer, multiple-Grammy Award winning mix engineer and musician heard the initial tracks and the intent of the EP, he immediately signed on to the project. “I first heard the demos that would become the American Dreamers EP and was blown away by the range of talent in this band. Within one band, it’s rare to find two exceptional singers as well as a musical and songwriting force that I am personally envious of,” said Lewis. “If I had this much realized talent at 20 years old, I'd be famous right now. Hopefully I can play a role in making Thirteen Yards to Victory a household name as well as an instantly recognizable sound escaping from your radio speakers. They've got all the raw talent and passion for music, and every time I push them in the studio, they rise above the occasion and deliver.”
13 YTV band members Vinny Prezioso and Dave Rossi are currently in pre-production for a new, internet-based, interactive talk show to be aired on the CBS Digital Radio Network, AOL Radio and Yahoo Radio.
Through the massive popularity of its MySpace Music page, 13 YTV has amassed over one hundred thousand fans spanning the globe. The phenomenal Internet buzz created has caught the interest of indie and major labels alike.
