From: MD, United States
The Rolling Stones took American R&B music and made it their own. The Police expertly merged punk sensibilities with reggae. So follows the Rockville, MD band the Treading Lemmings, except in reverse. Their own “flavour” of American Brit-pop borrows from the Brit-pop back catalogue, yet clearly exerts its own identity.
The Treading Lemmings new CD, titled “Cliff Notes,” debuted on Sept. 25th. It was produced by award-winning, Washington, D.C., area producer Marco Delmar. The Treading Lemmings were voted one of the best of 2009 on Froglix.com and have opened for such groups as The Futureheads, The Trashcan Sinatras and The Like. The CD is available for purchase from CD Baby, iTunes and Amazon.
