The Oyster Murders are an Australian alternative / dream pop band formed in Brisbane, Australia in 2008. The band is fronted by founding member and lead singer/guitarist Grant Redgen; along with his partner Wendy James (vocals/keys), Shaun Edwards (drums), Adam Buchanan (guitar) and Chris McPherson (bass).
Heavily influenced by the densely layered guitar sounds, and strong melodic vocals produced by the 90’s and now.The music straddles a wide variety of genres whilst still maintaining the eerie sweetness, characteristic of their sound.
